Public Sector Electric Efficiency
Eligibility: 
  • Local Government (county, township, municipal, public safety, water and park districts).
  • Public Schools.
  • Community Colleges.
  • State and Federal Government
  • Public Universities.
Use: 

Electric efficiency projects include but are not limited to, lighting retrofits, de-lamping and permanent lamp removal, as well as new lighting fixtures, HVAC and refrigeration equipment efficiencies, occupancy sensors and other computerized energy control systems or other projects designed to reduce electric energy consumption.

Amount: 

Incentive maximum is $300,000 per building.  See details below and on the website.

 

For Local Government, Public Schools and Community Colleges:

  • Custom = $0.12/kWh
  • Custom Exterior Induction, LED Lights = $0.30/kWh

 

For Public Universities, State and Federal Government:

  • Standard VSD = $75/HP
  • Custom = $0.09/kWh
  • Custom Exterior Induction, LED Lights = $0.23/kWh
Timeframe: 
Year-round until funds are exhausted.
