Use: 

The Illinois ENERGY STAR Appliance Rebate Program provided consumers with a point-of-sale rebate on ENERGY STAR qualified refrigerators, freezers, clothes washers, dishwashers, room air conditioners, and water heaters, as well as highly efficient heating and air conditioning systems. After 8 months of activity the 2010 Illinois Energy Star Appliance Rebate Program is happy to announce successful results. The program totaled over $13 million in rebates administered to Illinois citizens and an estimated 1,516 Billion lifetime Btus saved (equivalent to removing 2,258 cars from the road for 1 year or taking 1,004 homes off the grid for 1 year).  For the full 2010 Illinois Energy Star Appliance Rebate Program story, please visit the website below.
