Illinois Clean Energy Community Foundation
The Foundation provides funding to federally recognized 501(c)(3) nonprofit organizations and state and local government agencies serving Illinois residents. The Foundation will not provide funding for remediation of environmentally impaired properties, technology research, promotion of proprietary products, reoccurring operation costs, political campaigns or lobbying, capital campaigns or support for an organization's endowment or projects undertaken by individuals. Purchasing and installing renewable energy
technologies, including photovoltaic panels, solar thermal systems, wind turbines and biomass systems. The Foundation also worked with colleges and universities, as well as K-12 schools and teachers around the State to help educate and train Illinois' next generation about the benefits and potential of renewable energy.
